Nova zembla betekenis
Nova Zembla (Russisch: Новая Земля, Novaja Zemlja; "Nieuw Land") is een Russische archipel die het noordelijkste deel van de oblast Archangelsk vormt. Nova Zembla - In het Rijksmuseum was in een tentoonstelling te zien van gerestaureerde prenten, afkomstig uit een verzameling voorwerpen die Barentsz en Van Heemskerck* na hun overwintering in op Nova Zembla achterlieten. 
- Nova zembla betekenis Barentsz volgde de kust van Nova Zembla, hopend om om het eiland heen te varen, maar werd door het pakijs tegengehouden. De tweede helft van de expeditie, onder Cornelis Nay, had meer succes en wist via Straat Joegor in de Karazee door te dringen.
Nova Zembla
Nova Zembla is a historical drama film based on the diary of Gerrit de Veer, who survived the winter of – on Novaya Zemlya with Willem Barentsz and Jacob van Heemskerk. The film was the first Dutch feature film in 3D and was distributed by Benelux Film Distributors. It is situated in the Arctic Ocean, in the extreme northeast of Europe, with Cape Flissingsky, on the northern island, considered the easternmost point of Europe. To Novaya Zemlya's west lies the Barents Sea and to the east is the Kara Sea. Nova Zembla A small, dense, upright, evergreen shrub prized for its large trusses of showy, bright red flowers. A cold hardy rhododendron that thrives in cooler regions but benefits from protection from winter winds. Flower color develops a deep pink tone in sunnier exposures.
